Welcome to Your Ayurveda Practice Community
On behalf of the Ayurveda leadership and faculty team, welcome to your Ayurveda Department. If you are reading this, you are now a member of a growing community of Ayurveda counselors and practitioners aspiring to build a more vigorous and thriving practice. Upon enrollment, our staff will reach out to you to begin the onboarding process.
As you know, community practice is essential to thriving in our work—practice in connection with professional peers and our seasoned practitioner instructors. Community support is just a Slack message or Zoom meeting away. Use your department team to immerse yourself in professional, social, academic, and clinical teamwork. Learn from and share with your peers. Set up a referral network that reciprocates. Practicing in a clinical community nourishes your gifts, like water and sunshine to a garden.
Ayurveda Residency Program: As a community member, you are invited to join one of our Residency Programs. Residency programs are offered by our faculty and guest instructors. Join residency training to hone your skills and work towards mastering your practice with peers and experts willing to share their decades of experience. Gain exposure to advanced clinical skill sets and the development of specialty training.
We are excited to support you on your professional wellness journey. For any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
Thanks, and welcome.

Ayurveda Residency Program
The Ayurveda Department is proud to offer an active residency program to its community members as part of our Advancement Program. Residency programs focus on advanced clinical training within the boundaries of their department tradition with some interdepartmental training. Residency training allows practitioners to aim for practice mastery built upon exposure to advanced clinical skill sets and the development of specialty training. We strive to create a healthy residency experience with enthusiastic residents who are clear about their long-term career goals and pleased with the quality of their training. The goal is to develop a master level of clinical competency within their scope of practice.
Residency programs offer advanced clinical training rarely offered in most school programs, specialty training programs, didactic clinical courses from experienced instructors, national certification exam prep courses, and continued education credits. Residencies are an opportunity to dig deeper into your practice skills or to develop a specialty practice. Residents can choose to dedicate their residency to one advisor for specialization or cycle through different advisors for set periods, allowing exposure to various skill sets and specialties. Residents will select a primary faculty, but they can have several from the same department or from across departments for interdisciplinary studies. Residents will participate in lectures, workshops, and other educational sessions to deepen their knowledge.
To enroll, community members must upgrade their community membership to Residency Program status. Contact Kirsten Huntley-Goode (Ayurveda Director) or Casey Roberts (Administrative Director) for assistance.
