Virtual Booking with Acuity:Scheduling

Sevanti Practice uses Acuity to allow virtual bookings and calendars. Acuity, also known as Acuity Scheduling, is an online appointment scheduling tool that helps small businesses manage their calendars, lets clients book appointments directly on their website, and automates reminders and follow-ups through email and text messages.

Practitioner members are not required to use our Acuity system. You are free to use your own. However, if you are not using a virtual booking system, we highly recommend you start now. The world has gone virtual, and clients are accustomed to making bookings online. They expect a reminder by email or text on the day of the appointment.

Do I have to use your booking and payment systems?
– No, you do not have to use the SW booking or payment functions. These are intended to be essential tools for those who find technology to be their biggest hurdle towards professional practice.

Can I have a discounted membership fee if I don’t use the SW booking and payment systems?
No, SW does not offer discounted or tiered memberships depending on which of our tools you use. We find that all of our tools provide essential functions, and while not all practitioners need everything we offer, our streamlined membership structure allows all practitioners to have access to all the tools we offer.

How do I contact a client who has booked an appointment?
– Click into your Appointments calendar in your Momence Dashboard. From here, find the appointment in the calendar and click on it. Click the three dots in the upper right corner, and from the menu, select “Contact Client.”

How do I adjust my schedule?
To change your availability, you can do so while logged into Momence. Click on Schedule in the column on the left (it may be under the Appointments heading). At the top right of the page, there is a button labeled Actions, and when you click on that, you will be able to select Edit Availability Times. You can adjust your schedule here, including setting up a specific window of availability if it’s not part of your usual schedule.

How do I change the name of my service or the price of a service?
