On behalf of the Professional Development leadership and faculty team, welcome to your Department of Professional Development. If you are reading this, you are now a member of a growing community of Vidya practitioners aspiring to build a more vigorous and thriving practice. Upon enrollment, our staff will reach out to you to begin the onboarding process.
As you know, community practice is essential to thriving in our work—practice in connection with professional peers and our seasoned practitioner instructors. Community support is just a Slack message or Zoom meeting away. Use your professional development team to immerse yourself in professional, social, academic, and clinical teamwork. Learn from and share with your peers. Set up a referral network that reciprocates. Practicing in a clinical community nourishes your gifts, like water and sunshine to a garden.
Professional Development Program: As a community member, you are invited to join our Professional Development Programs. Professional Development programs are offered by our directors and guest instructors. Join professional development training to hone your holistic business skills and work towards mastering your practice with peers and experts willing to share their decades of experience. Gain exposure to practice building skill sets that increase revenue and followers.

Professional Development Program
The Professional Development Program is offered by the directors of the Department of Professional Development (DPD). By enrolling in this program, you will study under an experienced team of holistic business instructors and personal coaches. DPD directors will offer workshops and coaching. Outside guest instructors may be invited to teach. Topics will be related to the non-clinical growth of your practice, such as business tools, marketing, branding, use of social media, holistic business practices, leadership skills, and personal development and coaching.
Our education includes very little business training, much less holistic business training that focuses on successful practices for wellness businesses. If it does, it is usually a weekend at most. We also know that wellness practitioners and healers commonly lack essential business acumen and aren’t the best at running or growing a business. And yet, we all need to make a comfortable living from our work. Therefore, we have developed a holistic business and personal development program to support individual growth and financial success.
